Yoga for business

For busy employees, the thought of introducing yoga to their lives in 2017 seems a bit of a non-starter.

Busy professionals have a lot of demands on their time and allocating time for yoga just doesn’t factor. But what if they understood the potential benefits to their work and home lives?

Stress in the workplace today is a major consideration for employers and anything that can be introduced to alleviate this is a potential benefit to both employers and the employees. Less stressful employees will be more productive and are less likely to need time off through illness. Less stressful employees are likely to have happier home lives and this in turn leads to increased productivity.

Sarah experience of working closely with companies such as Connections and City Homes and providing Yoga classes that fit into the working day have had a positive effect on employees that attended the sessions. Most employees attending said it improved their well-being and was a real support to the working week.

Yoga sessions can fit into lunchtime by offering a shorter 45 minute session to allow time for lunch or having the session straight after work to finish and unwind at the end of the working day.

I really enjoyed Sarah’s yoga classes. She provided a very welcoming and relaxing environment and the classes always left me with a feeling of almost weightlessness. Would recommend for those looking for relaxation yoga.
